Job Details

Production accounting is an important role on any film & TV set. It requires an extreme attention to details, the ability to move fast and be flexible in a dynamic environment, and the professional accounting skills to handle unique challenges as they arise. This is a high demand position that pays well.

Course Levels

This is a professional level class only. No kids, youth, explore, or advanced levels are available. This is a module format class with two levels required for completion:

LEVEL 1: BASIC CERTIFICATION

• This level has 6 classroom modules

• Each class meets once per week for 3 hours per class

• Total of 18 hours of class time to complete level 1

​

LEVEL 2: PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE

• An additional 50 days of field work on Catalyst certified productions is required to complete level 2 professional certification

Experience Required

In order to register for this class, you must have at least one of the following:

• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a professional accountant in any other field, or

• A degree in accounting basics from an accredited college or university

Ages 17+ only

​

​

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisite courses within the Catalyst curriculum. This is the first and only accounting course in the Catalyst program.

• €50 per class

• 6 classes in level 1 = €300 for the full course

Classes are held in-person at our Kinostudio campus in Tirana, Albania

​

This is a night class held from 6-9pm during weekdays. Exact dates TBD.
