Career Details

Production accounting is an important role on any film & TV set. It requires attention to details, the ability to move fast and be flexible in a dynamic environment, and the professional accounting skills to handle unique challenges as they arise.

Course Structure

​LEVEL 1: BASIC CERTIFICATION

• 6 required classes, 3 hours per class (total of 18 hours of class time)

• All accounting students are required to take level 1 first

LEVEL 2: PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE

• After you complete level 1, an additional 30 days of field work on Catalyst certified productions

Previous Experience Required

To register for this class, you must have at least one of the following:

• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a professional accountant for another industry, or

• A degree in accounting basics from a college or university

• Level 1 = €50/class (€300 total)

• Level 2 = €100
